What Chicago Says About Our Cakes

Their coconut tres leches is good! Not too sweet, just right. They have slices for you to buy which is a good way to try the different tres leches! That’s a good way to taste whether or not if it’s too sweet. Great customer service too! Support your local businesses! (I would ignore the lowest reviews—people are too picky sometimes)

Making my rounds of trying all these tres leches, nothing but perfect, hands down the best I’ve had, coconut is beyond amazing, still going to try the others though! Reading these reviews some people are funny claiming the cake is “too sweet” etc I’ve served a whole party this cake not one person had anything negative to say, it’s “cake” when is it not sweet? Maybe you can go find a “sugar free” bakery, keep up the great job you guys are amazing!!

Best place to get you some tres leches cakes in the whole city. You have to try the coco flavored one as well as the abuelita tres leches cake. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond. It’s a must

Came here for their famous tres leches and was not disappointed. The coconut tres leches was perfectly balanced - sweet but not overly so, moist but not soggy. I also got a flan, which had a more pronounced caramel flavor and was eggier and denser than I would expect, closer to a crème caramel than a typical flan. Not that I’m complaining - it was excellent.

Our horchata and Jamaica were delicious and refreshing, we loved the touch ice cubes as well. Pies are sooo good, would definitely come back. Superb customer service!

A great little bakery with super friendly staff. If you like tree leches (or if you’ve never tried tres leches) this is really the spot for you. They sell whole cakes, a bunch of flavors of individual cake slices, and even some baking supplies.
